MFI Protects Pro-Life Pharmacist

Did you know that state and federal laws require employers to offer reasonable accommodations for the religious beliefs of their employees?

A pro-life pharmacist who works at a national pharmacy chain recently reached out to MFI for help. Her pharmacy has started providing the abortion pill to customers. But due to her Christian belief that life begins at conception, she could not in good conscience participate in abortion. We drafted a religious accommodation request for her, asking that she not be forced to dispense the pill and pointing out that she has legal rights that protect her beliefs. Thankfully, her employer quickly granted the request!

If you or someone you know are being pressured to violate your religious beliefs in order to keep your job, reach out to MFI. We’d love to help you. Email MFI at [email protected].
