Thank you to all who helped make our 33rd Annual Fundraising Banquet a resounding success! We enjoyed a wonderful evening celebrating MFI’s many victories in 2024 and looking forward to exciting initiatives for the year ahead. We remain incredibly grateful for the steadfast support of our donors as we continue our vital work protecting faith, family, and freedom in the Commonwealth.
We were pleased to welcome our keynote speaker Seth Gruber, founder and president of The White Rose Resistance and host of the podcast “The Seth Gruber Show.” A nationally renowned human rights activist and sought-after pro-life spokesman, Seth has launched a powerful national movement that is moving forward, impacting today’s generation and preparing a future generation of pro-life advocates. He also speaks widely on transgenderism, sexuality, and culture. Watch highlights from his lively address below!
We were excited to honor Kate Fredericks, a steadfast Christian with unwavering pro-life convictions, who works as a pharmacist here in Massachusetts. In early 2024, Kate found herself at a crossroads when her pharmacy began dispensing abortion pills—a direct conflict with her deeply held beliefs. Refusing to compromise her faith or her principles, Kate courageously sought guidance from MFI, requesting that she not be forced to participate in distributing the pill. Thanks to her boldness and MFI’s support, her employer swiftly granted her request. Kate’s decision to stand firm in her beliefs, despite the risk of potential professional repercussions, serves as an example for all of us. By refusing to compromise her integrity, she has inspired other medical professionals to have the courage to stand for their pro-life beliefs. She is a shining example of faith in action and a true champion for the sanctity of life.
We proudly honored Katie Aubin, a dedicated member of the Dighton-Rehoboth School Committee, whose faithful advocacy has led to a groundbreaking achievement in the protection of female athletes in Massachusetts. Despite facing incredible adversity, Katie stood strong, successfully influencing her school committee to adopt a first-of-its-kind policy that protects the rights and safety of female athletes, even as state governing bodies failed to do so. Her courageous leadership in Dighton-Rehoboth serves as a shining example of how perseverance and thoughtful advocacy can lead to tangible victories for our children and communities. We hope and pray that her work becomes a blueprint for other districts across the state and beyond, empowering school leaders everywhere to stand up for what is right, even when the odds seem stacked against them. Katie Aubin is a true champion for fairness and safety, and her efforts will have a lasting impact on girls’ sports.
MFI is sponsored and supported by individuals, businesses, and churches across Massachusetts. Each year these supporters help us reach families and lawmakers throughout the state, and also sponsor our Annual Fundraising Banquet.
