This past Saturday, MFI
staffers participated in a Peace March in Lowell. Hundreds of Lowell residents
joined together
to protest the recreational pot shops that have seeded themselves in that
community. Our Community Alliances
Director, Mike King, was invited to speak in front of Lowell City Hall on the
dangers of recreational marijuana use.
Mike was joined by faith
leaders from across Lowell, demonstrating a great example of why and how
churches should
engage in the public square.
