How the Wheels Came Off the Gender X Driver’s License

Over the past few months, we’ve been keeping you updated on a piece of legislation that would have added a third sex designation on state-issued identification such as drivers’ licenses. Instead of reflecting objective fact, forms of ID would have become vague, confusing representations of someone’s sexual expression.

But thanks to Representative Jim Lyons of Andover, the Gender X bill was stopped!  Rep. Lyons’ clever strategy was highlighted in national news sites including LifeSite, The Christian Post, Christian Headlines and Conservative Review. Howie Carr also applauded Rep. Lyons in the Boston Herald saying, “I’m going to nominate Rep. Jim Lyons for a Profiles in Courage Award.”

As I told The Christian Post, “Rep. Lyons called their bluff and demonstrated where the logic of this uncoupling of identity from reality ultimately leads.”

Thank you, Rep. Lyons, for your great work in preserving reality in our Commonwealth!
