This Thursday: Be a part of Bring Your Bible to School Day!

When my younger son was in first grade, he came home and announced, very matter-of-factly, that “you can’t talk about God in school.” As you can imagine, he didn’t get that idea from me, and I quickly corrected him! Disturbingly, many teachers and school administrators don’t know what the law allows students to do or say when it comes to expressions of faith. So, whether out of fear or hostility, students are often robbed of their First Amendment rights to free speech and free exercise of religion at school. Will you help us change that?

Despite common claims, students DO have the freedom to be open about their faith at school, and we believe it’s important for young people to make the most of that freedom and to be a light. This Thursday, thousands of students around the country will boldly practice their First Amendment right of religious liberty with Focus on the Family’s Bring Your Bible to School Day!

If you are a student or have a child who is a student, we encourage you to be a part of Bring Your Bible to School Day this Thursday, October 5! Share your pictures of your student with their Bibles on that day using the hashtag #BringYourBible. It’s a great, simple way for youth to be a part of this movement and stand with thousands of others participating nationwide. (Teens can share their own selfies, but parents of younger kids can post on their children’s behalf.) Be sure to check out the BringYourBible F.A.Q. here.

If you encounter ANY problems with a teacher or school administrator, PLEASE CALL US at 781.569.0400. We can help. You can also review the legal guide from Alliance Defending Freedom.

Don’t miss out on this fun opportunity to let Massachusetts schools know that you and your family are proud of what you believe, and don’t forget to #BringYourBible!

For our families,

Join the Fight to End Public Funding of Planned Parenthood

For decades, pro-life Americans have been forced to bankroll Planned Parenthood with their hard-earned tax dollars. Now, we have a powerful opportunity to stop it. Planned Parenthood isn’t just America’s largest abortion provider—it’s also a leading provider of dangerous cross-sex hormones to gender-confused young people. It’s time to cut off the funding.
