Doctors Say Gender Ideology is Harmful to Children

Radical anti-family ideologies continue to be imposed on our Commonwealth, but a national organization of healthcare professionals is finally bringing  objective science and biological truth to the issue of gender identity. The American College of Pediatricians (ACP), released a report this week that urged educators and legislators “to reject all policies that condition children to accept as normal a life of chemical and surgical american college of pediatrics 2impersonation of the opposite sex.”

This group of pediatricians has confirmed what we’ve known all along: treating a child’s mental disorder with chemical and surgical procedures is child abuse. The ACP reported:

Endorsing gender discordance as normal via public education and legal policies will confuse children and parents, leading more children to present to “gender clinics” where they will be given puberty-blocking drugs. This, in turn, virtually ensures that they will “choose” a lifetime of carcinogenic and otherwise toxic cross-sex hormones, and likely consider unnecessary surgical mutilation of their healthy body parts as young adults.

The Bathroom Bill is one legal policy that would do just that—normalize a sexually driven philosophy that contradicts biology and disregards the privacy and safety of women and children.

Massachusetts public schools are already ignoring the rights of girls in reference to this policy. In Littleton, MA, biologically female students are being told that they must cater to the illusions of a biologically male student who is identifying as a girl. If the girls feel uncomfortable, they are being told by school administrators to get over it or use a different bathroom. The school has justified this policy by claiming that it is required under Massachusetts and federal law, which is false.

MFI will continue to fight against the Bathroom Bill as it infringes on the rights of women and young girls and promotes an ideology harmful to children.
