Happy Thanksgiving from MFI

Though we give thanks to God every day through our prayers and our actions, this Thursday we gather with our families for the express purpose picture1of giving thanks and celebrating the first Thanksgiving that took place right here in Massachusetts. We have much for which to be thankful this year, including the blessings that God bestowed not only upon our personal lives, but also on our Commonwealth and our great nation.

We are grateful for the donors and supporters who have remained faithful in their support of MFI and our mission throughout this year.

We are grateful for the hundreds of citizens and volunteers that gathered enough signatures to place the repeal of the “Bathroom and Locker Room Law” on the 2018 ballot.

We are grateful for a nation that spoke out against a radical agenda in Washington by electing a President and majorities in the Senate and House of Representatives that have promised to be pro-life and pro-religious freedom.

This Thursday, as we sit down for turkey, stuffing and gravy, let us gives thanks for these great blessings, as well as all the other wonderful works done by our Creator over the last year. Let us remember the brave Pilgrims who came to the Bay State in pursuit of the same freedom to exercise their religion which we are defending here, on that same land, today.

As we celebrate a spirit of thanks this week, next week is #GivingTuesday. Next Tuesday, November 29th, Americans nationwide will give back togiving-tuesday-social local non-profits in charitable end-of-the-year giving. This #GivingTuesday, will you stand with Massachusetts Family Institute and help us ensure that pro-family advocates will continue to have a strong voice in Massachusetts’ public policy and culture? Thank you for your faithful support of our work to defend family values in our Commonwealth.

From my wife Karen and me, and the MFI Board and Staff, have a blessed and safe Thanksgiving holiday.

For our families,
