Back to school season is in full swing, and MFI knows that families are looking for support to ensure that their children have their most successful year yet. That’s why MFI has put together the resources you need to send your child back to school confidently, knowing that you are equipped to handle the year ahead.

Massachusetts Informed Parents (MIP)

Stay Alert

Public schools across the Commonwealth are continuing to share controversial gender ideology with students, both during and outside of class time. This occurs in several ways, from celebrations of LGBTQ themes, to graphic sex ed, explicit school library books, and invasive student interest surveys

Families should not need to worry about what material their children will encounter in the classroom or library, but this is an unfortunate reality.

That’s where MIP steps in. MIP is a grassroots network of concerned parents and citizens seeking to protect children’s education from harmful ideology and explicit material.

Visit the MIP Substack for regular updates about what may be going on in your child’s school, and visit this post below for back-to-school materials to help you protect your children inside and outside of the classroom.

And, join the MIP Facebook group to connect with like-minded parents across the state!

Massachusetts Liberty Legal Center (MLLC)

Opt Your Children Out

Even though concerning material has infiltrated many public schools, there is still hope.

MFI’s legal center, MLLC, has created resources on parental rights in education, including a legal advisory on Mahmoud v. Taylor’s impact on the Massachusetts sex ed opt-out law. This advisory is designed to empower parents with the legal information needed to their opt children out of objectionable material at school.

Additionally, MLLC has sample opt-out letters to equip parents to exercise their right to remove their children from sex ed and student surveys that conflict with their firmly held beliefs.

Visit MLLC’s resources page for all of the materials you need to exercise your parental rights!

And, if you feel as if your parental rights have been violated, contact MLLC today to speak with a lawyer at no cost.

Massachusetts Education Resource Center (MERC)
