Last month, we told you about several kid-focused “Pride Month” events to keep an eye on in Massachusetts. From “Rainbow Club Pride Day” at Dover Elementary School to a drag queen story hour at the Boston Public Library, our Commonwealth has no shortage of concerning events designed to normalize LGBTQ ideology for children.
We recently uncovered another concerning event that illustrates yet again why Massachusetts parents must be vigilant. “Proud to be Me! A Celebration of PRIDE at Boston Children’s Museum,” occurred on May 30th. Held at a place that many families trust, this innocent-sounding event was saturated with LGBTQ indoctrination aimed at children, coming from highly concerning sources.
See the information on this event from the museum’s website below.

Some sources are only associated with the event in Instagram posts by the Boston Children’s Museum, while others are directly named as participants on the website. The sources listed on this Instagram post by the Boston Children’s Museum include Glisten Massachusetts, Kidstock Theater, and Frolic Boston. In another post, the organization BAGLY is tagged.

Glisten Massachusetts is a local chapter of the national organization “Glisten,” formerly known as GLSEN. Glisten is an activist organization that works to embed LGBTQ ideology in the public school system. Their radical goal is achieved through promoting student activities like GSA clubs, professional development for staff, free resources and lessons, model policies that they recommend for school committees, and more.
BAGLY , an organization for “LGBTQ+ youth” up to age 25, was also tagged in the post. BAGLY offers giveaways for “gender-affirming” gear and sexual-themed offerings, and helps children conceal their social transition from their parents.
What role did these teen-and-adult focused organizations have in this event for young kids? MFI contacted the Boston Children’s Museum to inquire about the capacity in which BAGLY and Glisten participated in this event, but as of time of publication, we have not received a response. Unfortunately, BAGLY and Glisten aren’t the only organizations associated with this event to be wary of.
Kidstock Theater, a Winchester, MA based children’s theater, additionally hosted a set of three interactive plays that, according to the event description, “explore embracing who you are, accepting differences, and celebrating individuality.”
The list of plays performed this year is not available, but we found the list of plays featured in 2025 in Kidstock Theater’s recap post of the event on their Facebook page.

The second play listed, King & King, directly endorses same-sex “marriage.” Based on a book by Linda de Haan and Stern Nijland, it perpetuates the lie that marriage is not a covenant between one man and one woman, but simply a choice made on a whim when one’s “heart stirs,” even for a member of the same sex.
You can listen to the book below.
This story normalizes adult strangers discussing sexuality with children and uses the seemingly innocent pursuit of love and happiness to conceal it.
Did minors perform this play at the BCM event? If so, that means the adult staff of Kidstock Theater – effectively strangers – chose to cast and direct children as they performed a play about adult sexual preference. Did parents consider that this could be predatory behavior?
We can only imagine what sexually-charged storyline was present at this year’s gathering.
Frolic Boston also participated in the BCM pride event, hosting a “joyous dance party” for attendees. While a dance party is not automatically ideologically problematic, its host, Frolic, is worth noting.
Frolic’s local chapter, Frolic Boston, prides itself on “Making queer joy easy to find.” They host events including weekly “Bussdown Fridays,” nightclub-style gatherings centered around substance use and rampant sexuality, including nudity and simulated sex acts.

Why is an organization that hosts weekly events centered around adult sexual preference hosting a dance party for children at BCM?
Given the nature and participants, we have many concerns about Boston Children’s Museum’s choice to host this outrageous “pride” event – and Massachusetts citizens should too.
Also, it is unclear how this event was funded. Could any financial support be traced back to taxpayer dollars? We know that BAGLY’s viral Trans Period Pride event was supported by state funds through Boston Mayor Wu’s Office of LGBTQ Advancement.
We also know that the Boston Children’s Museum has received federal funds in the past through the Museums for America program, and state funding through “partnership” level support in 2025. Was this outrageous event funded by taxpayer dollars too?
Taxpayers deserve to know the truth about what organizations are sponsoring this gathering, as well as transparency as to what extent their tax dollars are supporting the museum itself. This is especially true if it is hosting events that may deeply conflict with their sincerely held convictions.
Of even greater importance is the fact that families should not need to worry that environments once considered “safe,” such as a children’s museum, may actually promote content that could violate their beliefs and connects young children with adults who promote or engage in sexual deviancy. This event at the Boston Children’s Museum proves that many must face this reality.
Parents, we urge you to stay aware of what is happening in family-focused spaces in your communities. Just because an environment should be “safe” does not mean that you can blindly trust the judgment, or the agendas, of those in charge.
When you come across an event such as this, speak up. And if you are a supporter of Boston Children’s Museum, let them know that you do not approve of this event. Change only happens if families like you take action today.
Right now, families in your community are facing decisions that will shape their children’s lives, often without the full picture. That’s where MFI comes in. Our investigative team works to uncover what’s happening behind closed doors in schools, agencies, and institutions that affect your children, and we publish what we find so you don’t have to wonder.
But investigations like this take time, resources, and people willing to ask hard questions when others won’t. We cannot keep doing this work without you. Every dollar you give today goes directly toward the next report, the next investigation, and the next piece of information that could matter to your family.
The threats to parental rights are not slowing down, and neither can we. MFI is committed to standing firmly with you in this fight, but we need your support to keep moving. Please consider making a generous donation today. Your contribution now ensures we can act quickly when it matters most.
