The MA Senate is scheduled to vote on bill S. 2522/2538 this Thursday. This dangerous bill, deceptively named An Act strengthening health care protections in the Commonwealth, would:

  • Further solidify Massachusetts as a “sanctuary state” for gender transition surgeries and abortions
  • Encourage child trafficking to MA for the purpose of minor gender transitions
  • Allow doctors who prescribe the abortion pill or gender hormones to hide their identities, preventing them from being held accountable if their patients are harmed
  • Prevent any MA state or local employee from cooperating with law enforcement officials from other states or the federal government who are investigating dangerous abortions or gender surgeries
  • Allow the State to hide data about gender transition procedures, leaving the public in the dark about how their taxpayer dollars are being used for these “treatments”
  • Force religious hospitals to provide abortions
