Back in February, we told you about two new tools parents could use to push back against indoctrination and protect girls’ sports and spaces in Massachusetts public schools. Many concerned Bay State parents have already used the Massachusetts Liberty Legal Center’s Title IX Complaint Template and the Department of Education’s End DEI portal to report local violations directly to the Trump administration.
With the help of MLLC’s Attorney Sam Whiting, a Lexington father filed a Title IX complaint reporting an injury that his daughter received while playing field hockey against a male player. The dangerous MIAA policies that allowed the stronger, larger male competitor to injure his daughter still exist, and he demanded justice. This complaint, also reported on by the Boston Herald, can be read here.
We also heard from several parents who filed complaints through the End DEI portal. We published a few of these reports on the Massachusetts Informed Parents substack last month. Reports from parents in Lexington and Natick shed light on some of the biased curriculum taught and disparate treatment received in local schools. You can read our Substack post here.
Now we are pleased to share that earlier this week, IW Features, the national storytelling project of Independent Women’s Forum, published a feature on the Lexington DEI report originally highlighted on the MIP Substack. The article includes an interview with the reporting father, who used a pseudonym to protect his identity, and described how Lexington Public Schools openly defied federal orders to roll back DEI programs. He recounted his family’s experience with the district’s ideological curriculum and the backlash his children faced for expressing conservative views, saying, “Their arrogance is what really gets to me…they just double down.”

Massachusetts parents have been raising the alarm for years about indoctrination, political bias, and sexual content in schools. Far too often, their concerns have fallen on deaf ears. But times are changing, and we pray that those changes will be felt increasingly across the Commonwealth. In the meantime, we will continue to amplify the stories and experiences of courageous parents as they seek justice and fairness in their communities, and network with national partners to ensure their stories are heard far and wide.
Is your local district violating girls’ rights on the athletic field and in their private spaces? Are they promoting divisive ideology that ushers in discrimination under the guise of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion? If so, learn more about how to file a Title IX complaint or a DEI report here. If you’re ready to report and need help, or if you’ve filed a report and would like to share it with MFI, contact us by emailing [email protected] or [email protected].
