We are happy to report that the U.S. Supreme Court has agreed to hear Kerr v. Planned Parenthood South Atlantic, a case which will decide whether states can end Medicaid funding for Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers without getting sued in federal court. Along with dozens of other family policy councils across the country, MFI signed on to a “friend of the court” brief last summer asking the Court to take the case. We are hopeful that the Court will agree that taxpayers should not be forced to fund organizations that profit off of ending innocent lives. Our friends at Alliance Defending Freedom are lead counsel – please keep them in your prayers!”

Earlier this year, MFI proudly launched Massachusetts Liberty Legal (MLLC), a public interest law center dedicated to defending the rights of Massachusetts citizens and advancing constitutional liberties. Your generous donation will enable us to expand our litigation capacity. Give a financial gift today!
