MFI Hosts National Reclaiming Education Conference with the Herzog Foundation

This week MFI had the incredible honor of hosting the National Reclaiming Education Conference, in partnership with the Herzog Foundation, and we are beyond thrilled to report that this powerful event was an overwhelming success! The energy was palpable as education pioneers, pastors, and church leaders from across the country came together in Kansas City for a transformative two-day experience. Each person was united by one common purpose: to provide affordable, high-quality K-12 education in partnership with local churches—a vision that is more urgent now than ever before.

The conference boldly addressed the urgent crisis in government schools, where academic achievement has taken a backseat to radical ideologies that undermine parental rights and threaten the well-being of our children. It was a rallying cry for the church to rise up and take action, offering a lifeline to families by rescuing children from these ideological institutions. Attendees were deeply moved and inspired by the church’s unique and God-given ability to provide affordable, community-driven educational alternatives through church-based learning centers (CBLCs). These centers offer homeschooling families invaluable support, from curriculum assistance to enrichment classes, creating a nurturing environment where children can thrive.

The Herzog Foundation, with its unwavering mission to accelerate the development of Christ-centered K-12 education, shared their insights and vision, further fueling the attendees’ passion. MFI also took center stage, highlighting our expanding CBLC initiative, which supports parents withdrawing their children from the public school system. Practical, hands-on guidance was provided, empowering attendees with the tools and knowledge needed to launch similar efforts in their own communities.

Networking opportunities were plentiful, allowing leaders to connect, share their experiences, and forge powerful partnerships that will strengthen their ministries and communities. The atmosphere was one of unity and excitement as everyone left the conference equipped and emboldened, ready to continue the critical work of providing a better, more affordable education for children across the nation—one rooted in faith, family values, and a commitment to academic excellence.

As we reflect on the success of this inaugural event, we ask for your continued support. Please consider making a generous gift to help MFI keep up the momentum and empower parents to reclaim the education of their children. Together, we can make a lasting impact for generations to come!
