“It’s shocking that they’re not shocked!”

When one viewer saw the clip of my appearance on NECN last night discussing the Sex Ed Mandate, her response was “It’s shocking that they’re not shocked!”  She’s right.  Despite the fact that I held up a roll of “non-microwavable saran wrap” and explained what Planned Parenthood’s “Get Real” curriculum would teach our children to do with it, the host and opposing guest just shrugged it off.

Their argument is that we need “comprehensive sex education” or “CSE” to make sure children and teenagers don’t contract STD’s or become pregnant.  However, as I pointed out, CSE has actually been proven to have little to no lasting positive impact on youth sexual behavior. In fact, in at least one of the CSE curricula that would be “approved” under the Sex Ed Mandate, studies show that it leads to earlier initiation of sexual activity amongst youth and greater frequency in sexual contact. In other words, that CSE program made things worse!

This is why at MFI we continue to advocate for the rights of parents to decide what their children should be taught and at what age.  As mothers and fathers, we can do better than the so-called “experts,” and the research proves it.

For our families,

The Fight Isn’t Over: Burlington Survey Controversy Grows

Massachusetts Lawmakers Dodge Vote to Protect Girls’ Sports

On Wednesday, the Massachusetts House of Representatives quietly passed a supplemental budget bill containing a common-sense provision to protect girls’ sports, but instead of standing on principle, lawmakers used a procedural sleight of hand to dodge the issue and avoid going on record. The provision, filed by Rep. John Gaskey, states that no

Spring Sports Are Back—So Is the DEI Pledge. Here’s What to Do.

With the spring sports season now in full swing, many Massachusetts parents are discovering that, despite recent efforts to dismantle diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, their children’s schools are still requiring athletes to sign a DEI pledge. Unfortunately, this isn’t a new issue. Back in late 2021, the Massachusetts Interscholastic
