Mr. Beckwith Goes to Washington

I’m down in D.C. at Family Research Council’s Values Voters Summit today and tomorrow.  President Trump will be speaking this morning and FRC has asked me to speak on a panel discussing pro-family work at the state level tomorrow afternoon.  You can watch the livestream of most of the speakers here.

As you can imagine, there’s a very excited atmosphere at the Summit this year, but my meetings yesterday with top administration officials were the most encouraging part of this trip so far.  For example, my state counterparts and I heard from longtime abstinence advocate Valerie Huber who is now helping lead the Department of Health and Human Services.  She shared with us how recent government studies on many of Planned Parenthood’s “Teen Pregnancy Prevention” programs show that their perverse “comprehensive sex education” materials DO NOT actually help reduce teen sexual behavior.  We’ll be going over this information in the coming weeks and will use it in our fight against Planned Parenthood’s Sex Ed Mandate here in MA.  What a difference it makes to have someone like her in this position of influence in our nation’s government!

Have a blessed weekend, and I look forward to seeing many of you a week from tonight at our 26th Annual Fundraising Banquet.

For our Families,

For decades, pro-life Americans have been forced to bankroll Planned Parenthood with their hard-earned tax dollars. Now, we have a powerful opportunity to stop it. Planned Parenthood isn’t just America’s largest abortion provider—it’s also a leading provider of dangerous cross-sex hormones to gender-confused young people. It’s time to cut off the funding.
