Merry Christmas from MFI!

Dear Friends of the Family,

This afternoon, MFI staff celebrated Christmas at the State House with the revealing of a beautiful nativity scene and singing carols about Christ’s birth for all to hear.  We are grateful to State Representative Jim Lyons from Andover and the many others who made possible this spreading of Christmas cheer and celebration of religious freedom in our Commonwealth’s capital. The Boston Herald wrote about the religious liberty win here.

It is a blessing to be able to take time to savor the joyous season that is Christmas. I love all the traditional decorations, but my home is flooded with minature nativity sets.  Platoons of shepherds and a score of wise men all turned and bowing to face the reason for the season, the infant Jesus, born of a virgin. We are grateful for the time to reflect and rejoice over the Savior’s humble entrance into the world, bringing the hope of salvation through Him.

Today and every day, we recognize the importance to stand for the freedom to share this Truth in the public square, and we are thankful for a Constitution that protects freedom of religion, our very first freedom.

From all of us at MFI, we wish you and your family a Merry Christmas!
