Important work to be done

Friends of the Family,
I just returned from the State House in Boston where the House and Senate convened, albeit briefly, in a joint session. The Constitutional Convention was promptly adjourned, and a brief report of our concerns over amendments pending before this “ConCon” follows later in this email.
I have been spending a good amount of time both on Beacon Hill, as well as on the phone with our pro-family legislators, talking about the issues that are concerning to parents and families around our state. As you know, the two family issues getting the most press are doctor-prescribed suicide and the legalization of marijuana (both for medical and general use). Rest assured, MFI opposes both!
However, a lot of the policymaking goes on behind the scenes and out of public view. This is why it is critical that MFI continue to have the resources to keep legislators honest and maintain a visible presence in the corridors of power at the Statehouse. Whether it is assisted suicide, legalized marijuana, a renewed push for the “Bathroom Bill,” or erosion of parents’ rights in regards to sex education, MFI stands as the respected advocate for you, your families and your values.
I ask you to please consider a generous donation to MFI today to help us continue our efforts, both on Beacon Hill and across the Commonwealth. While Massachusetts may have a casino law on the books, it will take approval by local towns for these gambling havens to be built, and that is where they can still be stopped.
CLICK HERE to make your donation to MFI today. And remember that we prayerfully consider every penny we spend to maximize your investment. MFI is able to be YOUR advocate because of the generous support of people just like you.
Thank you for your ongoing support, whether financial and otherwise.
For our families,

P.S. The time period from March until June is critical and busy in both the House and Senate. In an election year, this is when everything gets done so that legislators can get back to their districts and run their campaigns. Please DONATE NOW and help us be ready for this pivotal time stretch.
