Target fighting back against radical group’s protests

After facing months of protests, Target Corporation is fighting back in court against a radical homosexual organization. Canvass for a Cause has been harassing customers outside Target’s San Diego County’s stores after the corporation made a $150,000 donation to a business group that supported a Republican candidate in Minnesota who happened to oppose same-sex “marriage.”

The lawsuit alleges that the San Diego group’s activists harass customers by cornering them near its stores’ front entrances and debating with them about their views on same-sex “marriage.” At least 8 Target stores have reported receiving more than a dozen complaints daily since canvassers started working outside their stores in October 2010.
