MFI Movie Review – Soul Surfer

Last night Lura and I were privileged to attend a private screening of "Soul Surfer" along with many other pastors and ministry leaders. This is a first-rate Hollywood film with a top-notch cast about the inspiring true story of Bethany Hamilton, who lost her arm in a shark attack and courageously overcame all odds to become a champion surfer through the love of her family, sheer determination, and unwavering faith. With a PG rating, the acting is excellent, as is the cinema photography, but the shark attack scene may be scary for young children. Lura and I highly recommend you see the film on its opening weekend of April 8-10 so that it will open in more theaters across the country, especially in Massachusetts and New England. http://www.soulsurferwave.com/
